What a lovely day off. There is nothing better than sitting in a nice, clean organized room, with the window open- a slight breeze coming through, as well as some sun-with my kitty and a sketchbook. I did some sketchbook homework today, I think I'm rusty. I used to be rather good at shading and such, but haven't since highschool art. Still art has to be forced on me in order to practice it. So here are two very different pieces I did today. This is for class, which features one of my teacups, my Eiffel tower statue ornament, and my time-clock necklace.
I'm not sure what to say about this second drawing, other than the lyrics are from the song Brother by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, which I cannot find a good video of on youtube. Oh, and it was drawn with the help of my trusty tablet and Adobe Illustrator, which is my favourite program to use.
In other news, my cat took all her toys out of the toybox and sat in it.
