NEW YEARS EVE OUTFITS

Since I won't be able to blog tomorrow, I figured I would do my New Years Eve party post today!

Here are three outfit ideas, dresses c/o Windsor.

I think number 2 is my favourite! While I will just be partying at a small bar tomorrow, it was fun to think of outfit ideas for these fancier numbers ;)

1. Semi-formal Chic

This is the least formal of the three, featuring Windsor's strapless form-fitting royal blue dress.

I like blue+gold together (even at the risk of looking like a BLUE BOMBER fanatic), so I paired it with gold accessories. I thought the leopard bracelet was a cute touch. Adding a blazer takes away from fanciness/the 'cocktail dress' vibe, but it gives this look a bit of a more grown-up appearance. I kept my hair bone straight, which is always simple and chic.

2.Silver & Black Sweetheart

I really adore the shape of this black dress, especially the sweetheart neckline and the cake-like layered tiers! Nothing says "Happy New Years" like a metallic, so this dress is pretty much perfect for the occasion as it is flecked with a silvery material. I included my favourite headband in this look as well as some costume jewerly diamond rings. And the dress looks perfect against the snow, am I right?

3. Timekeeper

This is a more romantic look to welcome the New Year. The mauve dress is simple yet very formal, and also features flecks of metallic; which are concentrated at the top of the skirt and gradually lessen on the way down. I curled the ends of my hair for this look and included my clockwatch necklace and nude heels. You can be in charge of the countdown with this look.

A Happy Coincidence

Hey all <3

Today's look features a clutch from khlees. I really like it, because it's leather and mmm I love the smell, and also because of the embossed design. Cool. Sorry about the hideous roots. Um, they are charming, maybe? As you can see, my natural colour is a nasty dirty blonde.

I'm getting my hair dyed in early January...joy to the world ;)

Also I thought I would show you guys my latest obsession (sort of). LUSH BATH BOMBS! I just think they are so cool, and I love the different scents. Also all products are organic. Here are the ones I have so far;

The Sexbomb! Fills the bath with rose buds <3

I wasn't 100 percent sure on identifying this one, since I got it as a gift, but I think it is the  Kiss me Klimt. It fills the bath with a shimmer!

And lastly, the Sakura bath bomb! It fills the bath with flower petals.

The Year of the Tiger

Hello!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas.

Mine was wonderful. I got a serger and a dress form! And a new camera lense. I really love it because I think low-apeture works the best for fashion bloggers, since the outfit is really the main focus. See the blurry background in these photos?

 The shirt is from Rai's brand, Acid Reign. The shop is down for the holiday but be sure to like their facebook! The shoes are also from him <3 Gotta love a guy who buys you sparkly shoes, right?

In other news...I did a collaboration with CHIC SHOP! I chose this beautiful feather pin from Lucky Vintage and this plaid coat from Chicwish. It's actually pretty warm and cozy!

BIRDS CAN FLY SO HIGH

Are you the type of person who looks at an item of clothing and says, "Wow, that would be so much better if it was _____"?

Well, this website is made justttt for you ;)

I was recently contacted by UnitedStyles, which is one of the most unique clothing shops I have come across! Basically, you can design your own item of clothing, picking from a variety of styles, prints and colours.
UnitedStyles is custom in terms of fit as well. When you order an item of clothing, they send you a black sample of your pick so that you can try it on and make sure it fits perfectly. If it doesn't, you can tell them to tailor parts of your custom item.

I have no bird-print things so I decided to go with this print while designing my dress! It was actually hard to pick a colour but I decided to go with dark navy and white, so that I could match it with a variety of accessories.

DIE WITH THE SUN

I wore this a few weeks ago to go shopping but didn't get a chance to post it until now. I don't usually wear orange around Christmas but this scarf is pretty wintery so I thought it was okay ;)

Carols

Hey everyone!

Well exams are through, and I had a little Christmas get-together. Yes, a sequin skirt was put to use. The night was filled with delicious foods (sadly I did not get photos of; spinach/artichoke/cheese dip, baked brie, salmon pastry things, nom nom), catching up and silly photos.

Gifts were exchanged. The hats are from Mylaine and Leo (sisters) and are adorbs. Earlier in the day I did some outfit shots with this gorgeous coat from Miss Patina. It's so luxurious, I can't really get over it! Faux fur.
